PURPOSE

If I can but touch someone's heartache
And comfort their hurt, with the Lord
Or be there to help when they falter
To show them God's strength through His Word.
Encouraging always to others
With hope shining bright on my face
Telling of my transformation
Kept safe by His infinite grace.
Taking the time to share laughter
Or tears, which often may come
Praying and seeking God's guidance
United together as one ---
Then, I'll never fear for tomorrow
In life, or in death, Christ to gain
For dying, I'll have peace in knowing
My living has not been in vain
